What can I do to help?

Kids4climate gives kids the tools to answer this question through education and a hands-on classroom project exploring the link between nature and climate. Greenspaces mitigate the impact of climate change by reducing the overall temperature during summer months through the process of evapotranspiration, which is water evaporation into the atmosphere, including water vapor released through plant leaves. Trees help clean our water and capture and store carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions which contribute to global warming. Trees and other plants provide habitat for birds, butterflies and bees.
